PROS and CONS of Buying NEW CONSTRUCTION

 

PROS:

  1. You get to customize and get the finishes, colors, and materials to suit your taste and lifestyle, and a turn-key, move-in ready home with new appliances (i.e. warranty incuded), HVAC, sprinkler systems, plumbing, electrical.

  2. New developments in Colorado often include greenspace with trails, usually incredible mountain views and access!

 

CONS:

  1. Most new construction developments are in the suburbs.

  2. Limited options on smaller yard spaces

  3. Waiting time: buyers that are first in a new development will be living in a construction zone for a few years and wait for mature landscapes and established community to develop.
